Dr. Ed Paluch holds a B.A. degree in Biology from New York University, M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Pathology from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. from Duke University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Immunology & Immunopathology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Paluch’s professional experience includes a total of 8 years in academics in the clinical immunology/allergy area at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and the Tufts University School of Medicine. Since 1986, he has held management level positions at five major pharmaceutical companies, having worked in the areas of clinical research, medical communications, pharmacovigilance, and marketing, in both the US and Europe.

Dr. Paluch’s work experience in a variety of different functional areas within the health care sector has provided him with a thorough understanding of key health care issues relating to health care policy and management, health care regulations, clinical research, commercial strategy, health economics, global health, marketing, corporate cultures, project management, communications, operational issues, and leadership considerations, both from domestic and global perspectives. He has been working with doctoral students for more than 10 years and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
