Dr. Donna Gee’s formal training is in instructional technology. Dr. Gee taught in the public schools for nine years then moved in to higher education positions in Curriculum and Instruction and Teacher Education departments as faculty and chair of one of those departments. At Walden University, she teaches the doctoral capstone course. Dr. Gee has served on numerous doctoral student dissertation committees.
Dr. Gee’s current research interests focus on teacher professional development, educational technology, and mathematics education. She has presented at numerous conferences including the American Educational Research Association. Dr. Gee has received over 20 grants totaling over one million in funding. She has also published several peer reviewed articles as well as 2 book chapters.
