Donaji Stelzig joined Walden University with the DrPH Public Health program in the College of Health Sciences, as a Contributing Faculty for Doctoral Committees. Dr. Stelzig has dedicated her career to design, plan and implement educational community programs and events that provide equal health opportunities to ethnic and minority underserved groups. As part of her doctorate of public health degree, Health Promotion, and Community Health Sciences at Texas A&M University, she was a doctoral fellow at the 18th congressional district in Texas working on advocacy and policy regarding health initiatives. Dr. Stelzig received her Masters of Public Health from The University of Texas Houston Health Science Center in 2004.

In academia, she has served as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Southern University, and as a full time Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Houston with dual appointment with the Honors College and the College of Medicine.
