Dr. Denise Weems Bryant
Dr. Denise Weems Bryant’s formal training is in elementary education where she has served in various roles over her 24 year career. Dr. Weems Bryant taught in middle school for 12 years and in higher education for 8 years. She has spent the last 4 years in high school teaching dual enrollment and AP English. She has been with Walden University since 2007 serving as a contributing faculty member in various programs. Dr. Bryant has served on numerous doctoral student dissertation committees. Dr. Weems Bryant’s current research interests focus primarily on at risk students, as well as teacher education. She has presented at numerous conferences including NAEYC.
