Denise Rizzolo, PhD, PA-C is an Associate Professor at Kean University School of Nursing. She is also an Assessment & Evaluation Specialist for the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA). She earned a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University and a PhD in Health Science from Seton Hall University. Currently she will be a contributing faculty member in the PhD in Health Science Program at Walden University. Denise’s 17 years of clinical experience has focused on primary care and women’s health, treating a variety of conditions across the lifespan. Denise’s has been an educator for over 14 years working with undergraduate, graduate and PhD students. She has served on multiple committees for both the American Academy of Physician Assistants along with the Physician Assistant Education Association. Denise has served as a research coordinator for the past 12 years publishing her work with students in peer reviewed journals and at presenting during poster presentations at national conferences. She regularly lectures for state, regional and national audiences.
