Joined Walden on December 4, 2006 teaching programs in leadership, human resources and organizational behavior.

Spent 30 years in the federal sector in human resources and international business. Directed several HR and leadership programs including those included in this class such as training and development, human capital asset management, and workforce planning. I designed, developed, delivered and evaluated several programs, primarily in the areas of leadership, communication, and management. Also served as Manager, Global Business Development for the Latin America, then the Asia-Pacific markets for international delivery services.

Spent a number of years as the Regional Program Director in the Washington DC area for the doctoral programs in business and public administration for Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. In that capacity administered the program and served as chair and committee member for a number of doctoral candidates.

Currently, hold a number of certifications in various subject matter areas, working with organizations such as the Center for Creative Leadership and Duke University. Recently had a chapter published in the Pfeiffer Annual in Human Resource Management on leadership development.

Strongly committed to Walden’s mission and values, especially in creating positive social change. Deeply involved in our neighborhood efforts to provide for those in need in our community through a number of drives and events. Also works to provide veterans in our area some of the benefits they don’t usually get.
