Dr. Charletta Barringer-Brown received her B.A. in Psychology from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, a M.Ed in Special Education from Virginia State Â University in Petersburg, Virginia, a Ed.D. in Administration and Supervision of Special Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg, Virginia, and my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration with a concentration in Law and Public Policy from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has served as a tenured professor and program administrator in the University of North Carolina system, as well as possessing over 20 years of experience in senior level management with local, state, and federal level agencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia and North Carolina. Dr. Barringer-Brown teaches Research Methods and Design courses in the DPPA program. Primarily, she chairs and serve on doctoral dissertation committees, and teachs dissertation credit courses, as well as being a member of the University Research Review committee.
