Charles M. Cook holds a BA in History from the University of Texas-Austin, an MA in American History from the University of Houston, and an EdD in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston. He has 30+ years of teaching experience at both the undergraduate (History) and graduate levels (courses in Higher Education policy, leadership, and community college administration). He also has 20+ years of administrative experience in roles at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Houston Community College System, and the Austin Community College District. He has presented at major higher education conferences including the American Association of Community Colleges and the League for Innovation in the Community College. At Walden, he teaches the Professional Doctoral Capstone Course.
