Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Dr. Fant has over 30 years as nurse educator in ADN, BSN, and MSN programs, both on ground and online. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Walden. She developed a nursing informatics track and has revised informatics nursing courses. Her clinical background includes ED and critical care. She is a member of informatics associations. Currently, she is active in a big data initiative's education workgroup at The University of Minnesota. Nursing informatics is Dr. Fant's research field with her current focus on examining nurse practitioners' perceptions of sharing clinical notes. Dr. Fant is a retired Col in Air Force Reserves where she functioned in numerous clinical and administrative positions.
