Camilla M. Jaekel received her PhD in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2012. She currently serves as an Adult Medical/Surgical Clinical Nurse Specialist at Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare in LaCrosse, WI. In her current role with MCHS-FH, Camilla serves as a resource for nursing leadership, nursing staff and members of other disciplines to align practice with current research findings and enhance healthcare knowledge to standardize practice. Her work is also grounded in the use of information technology to optimize efficiencies in documentation of the nursing process and data retrieval to continually improve care.
