Brenda J. Kennedy began teaching at Walden University in May 2005 in the Teacher Leadership Doctoral Program. She currently mentors doctoral students in the Curriculum Instruction, and Assessment Program. She also serves as a Lead Mentoring Colleague. Prior to entering higher education where she’s taught for 26 years in public and private four-year colleges in Illinois and North Carolina, Dr. Kennedy taught fourteen and a half years in levels ranging from elementary through high school. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband.
