Becky Gonzales has been in the nursing profession for 27 years. As an RN, she worked mainly in the area of labor and delivery, including being on the high-risk maternal transport team. She became a Nurse Practitioner in 2004, and works as an NP in a private OB/GYN office. She has been teaching since 2008. Her teaching experience includes an Associate Degree progam, RN-to-BSN program, and MSN/FNP program. She teaches both in person and in the online environment. She currently serves as Contributing Nursing Faculty in the RN to BSN program at Walden University.
Becky has been a faculty speaker at Women's Health Conferences with the Brody School of Medicine, speaking to providers about matters of Health Promotion/Prevention. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified with the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
