Dr. Barbara Cliff is a registered nurse with an MS in Health Services Administration, an MA in Public Administration, and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences. Professionally, she has worked in both healthcare administration and academia. She has held health care leadership positions, ranging from nursing management to President/CEO in a variety of settings, including urban and rural hospitals, hospice and ambulatory care. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). In academia, Dr. Cliff most recently functioned as an Associate Dean in undergraduate health professions and has been an adjunct faculty for Walden and several other universities over the past 20 years. She has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in a number of areas including health care administration, nursing, hospice, ethics, disaster preparedness and more. Additionally, she has developed courses, functioned extensively as a Subject Matter Expert, presented nationally and internationally, and has had several articles published.
