Dr. Anna Yoder-Olson's is an adult and geriatric nurse practitioner (NP) with doctoral training in the field of nursing. Her board certification is in geriatrics. She has taught online for master's level nursing physical assessment and nursing leadership courses. She serves in the College of Health Sciences for the adult and geriatric primary care program.
Dr. Anna Yoder-Olson is an entrepreneur, patient advocate, and teacher at heart. She has 20 plus years of experience in nursing and medicine. She serves on the Advisory Board for the College of Health and Natural Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), teach as adjunct faculty for UNC and Walden.
Her doctorate research focused on the concept of transition and how transitions can be made successfully, whether the transition be organizational, clinical, or personal. She has started several NP practices, managed NP teams, and developed new business models for delivering care. Her dream is to create a new standard and approach for patients to interact with their providers. This standard is infused with integrity and trust. This approach is committed to personal, convenient and economical care, while being flexible, accommodating, and non-burdensome to the provider.
