Angelique Ogea ,Ed.D. has been a contributing faculty member for Walden University since 2010. Her nearly 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher and campus administrator gives her real-world knowledge and expertise which help to support future educators from the Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership. Angelique understands that a strong educational foundation supports future success for both her current teacher candidates as well as the generations of P-12 students they will teach once they graduate. Angelique believes that keeping current with research and attending professional development keeps her apprised of the most current trends within the field of education. Angelique has many national certification such as a CAEP national site visitor, EdTPA early childhood certification, and Co-Teaching Train the Trainers from St. Cloud State University. Angelique also has presented at the National Field Experience Conference held in Colorado. Angelique holds a baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education and master degree in Early Childhood from McNeese State University in Louisiana as well as a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in Texas.
