Dr. Gaddis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with clinical experience in the areas of mental health, military service members, and substance abuse. She received her PhD from University of Alabama. She has taught Bachelor of Social Work courses for over twenty years and Master of Social Work courses for six years. At Walden, she has primarily taught Field Courses for the Master of Social Work program, but has also contributed to the course development of the Bachelor of Social Work program and Skills Lab. She serves on the regional board for Joni and Friends, an organization which serves families and individuals with special needs. She also serves as on Board of Mississippi Toughest Kids. Her areas of current research are human trafficking, and the role of the local church with abused and neglected children. She was recipient of the HEADWAE Award in 2015.
