Currently the Principal of the Tobyhanna Elementary Center, Dr. D'Angelo's school is located in the Pocono Mountains in eastern Pennsylvania. In Dr. D'Angelo's building, there are currently 680 students in grades K-6. The Pocono Mountains are about 100 miles east of New York City.
This year, 2018, is Dr. D'Angelo's 34 year in public education. Dr. D'Angelo graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and began substitute teaching. The following year, Dr. D'Angelo graduated with her Masters degree in Reading also from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. In 1987, Dr. D'Angelo officially was hired as an elementary school teacher. Dr. D'Angelo graduated from Lehigh University located in Bethlehem, PA in 2005 in Educational Leadership. Dr. D'Angelo remained in public school education while beginning her work with graduate and doctoral students.
Dr. D'Angelo previously worked for Walden from 2012 until 2015. Then she needed to leave for personal reasons, and now has returned. Dr. D'Angelo truly enjoys working with doctoral students on their dissertation research.
Dr. D'Angelo enjoys helping students with proper APA formatting, using proper grammar, and choosing the proper methodology. Major work accomplishments occur when students graduate with their doctoral degree. The feeling of this accomplishment can be euphoric to anyone.
