Amy Swango Wilson is an faculty in the School of Nursing. Dr. Swango Wilson has been in nursing for 40 years and has taught more than 30 of those years in undergraduate Rn programs as well as in graduate programs. Dr. Swango Wilson currently is coordinating an NIH IDea Stated pediatric network grant focus on rural populations. Other research activities have included wellness research, research with connective tissue (lupus), diabetes, cardio vascular disease, and developmental disabilities. The population of focus for most of her research has been the Alaska Native people.
