Dr. Adma Wilson-Romans formal training is in primary care/family nurse practitioner where she has served in various roles over her 25 + year career. Dr. Wilson-Romans has worked in many different settings including acute care hospitals, private clinics, retail clinics, school-based health clinics, community health centers with the affluent, underserved and uninsured populations. At Walden, she teaches Advanced Pathophysiology and Health Assessment. She has presented to the National School Based Health Conference and her current research interest focus on advanced practice nurses who provides in home assessments. Dr. Wilson-Roman's has completed a community health research project which was published in June 2018.
