Dr. Jackson has been a providing mental health and substance abuse counseling to clients and families since 2000. He began his career in the criminal justice system as a probation officer in North Carolina where he worked for 6 years before going on to graduate school. He holds a Master’s Degree from Campbell University, and a Ph.D. from The College of William & Mary. Over the years, he has presented at local, state, and national conferences, and has provided additional training to the professional counseling community across North Carolina.
Dr. Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina and Virginia. He is also recognized as a National Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors. In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Jackson serves his community with active service in several civic organizations.
