Dr. McGhee is a licensed professional counselor in Alabama, a national certified counselor, and a global career development facilitator. A core faculty member of Walden’s MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in traditional and online environments. Clinically, she has worked with adults and children in the areas of depression, anxiety, life transition, spirituality, relationship issues, and trauma. Her current work in private practice involves conducting clinical assessments and evaluations for other mental health and social service agencies. Outside her clinical and educational work, she has served the Alabama Counseling Association in various capacities since 2006 and is currently serving on the Alabama Counseling Association's executive board as the Chi Sigma Iota liaison. She is a past president of the Alabama Association for Counselor Education and Supervision and has served as a member of the Executive Conference Committee of the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
