Background

Dr. Hamm is a licensed clinical counselor with supervisory status in the state of Ohio. For more than 10 years, she has been a counselor educator. She has experience working with families, children, adolescents, adults, and groups with mental health and addiction disorders. She has worked in a variety of rural and urban settings, including community mental health agencies, social service agencies, public and private schools, and a hospital. In 2010, Dr. Hamm was appointed by the governor’s office to serve as a member of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, where she was recently elected to serve as chair of the Counseling Committee. She has presented at numerous national, state, and international conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
