Dr. Boston has been a counselor educator for more than 9 years, and he has been involved in the field of counseling since 2005. He owns a consulting business that centers on disability management, expert testimony work, and vocational counseling. He is a licensed professional counselor in North Carolina and a certified rehabilitation counselor. He publishes scholarly writings for professional counseling journals and has secured more than 3 million dollars to help with the development of new counselors entering the field.
