Dr. Brown is a counselor educator and licensed counselor with more than 20 years of experience. She has received a Walden Research Dissemination Support Award and was named an Outstanding Member of the Alabama Counseling Association and an Emerging Leader of the Southern Association for Counselor Educator and Supervision. Dr. Brown is also an active member of the American Counseling Association and a published author. She became a core faculty member in Walden’s School of Counseling in 2014 after having served as a contributing faculty member for the school for two years. She serves on the Student Development Committee.
