Background

Dr. Foster is a core faculty member in the MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Dr. Foster has worked as a licensed professional counselor for more than 10 years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and has been a counselor educator for 12 years. She has served on local, state, national, and international counseling and editorial boards. Dr. Foster has presented various topics at the state, national, and international levels and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as several book chapters. She is also an active member in state, regional, and national professional associations.
