Dr. Kozlowski is a core faculty member in the Counselor Education and Supervision program. She has been a counselor educator since 2010, supported by more than 10 years as a school and mental health counselor. Her practice includes school counseling and work with children and adolescents, with particular focus on play therapy, sand tray therapy, and creativity in counseling practices. She is a licensed professional counselor, National Certified Counselor, and licensed school counselor. Dr. Kozlowski has served on the board of the Ohio Counseling Association and on the executive board of the Texas Counseling Association. She is past president of several counseling organizations and has received many counseling awards, including the American Counseling Association’s Ross Trust award, a Chi Sigma Iota fellowship, and TSCA school counselor of the year. She publishes scholarly writings for professional counseling journals and newsletters on a regular basis.
