Background

Dr. McDonald joined Walden in 2010 and is co-course lead for Walden’s Introduction to Mental Health. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings that include juvenile facilities, prisons, and community agencies. She served as a crisis counselor and mentorship coordinator for an LGBTA student resource center and is an editorial board member for the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision.
