Background

Dr. Lent is a licensed professional counselor and counselor educator. He currently serves as a Quality Matters course reviewer; a consultant for school districts in Huntington, West Virginia; and a board member for the West Virginia Counseling Association. His accomplishments include being named the West Virginia School Counselor Association School Counselor of the Year in 2015. Dr. Lent has published numerous articles in academic journals and has coauthored three book chapters on career counseling. He became a contributing faculty member in Walden’s MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in 2011.
