Dr. France is a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado. She began working for Walden University in 2015. She has worked in community mental health with chronically mentally ill adults, manned a suicide hotline, and evaluated risk for danger to self or others in an emergency department. She has directed a residential treatment center for at-risk adolescents, served as the executive director of a women’s shelter and outreach program for domestic violence, and worked as a mental health therapist for the elderly and disabled who were homebound or in an institution. She also had a private practice specializing in adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse. Her passions include her animals, her children, and riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
