Dr. Szirony (“Dr. Z”) joined Walden University as a core faculty member in 2012 after having taught at Ohio University, the University of Arkansas, Kent State University, and Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, currently serves as president of the Ohio chapter of the Association for Humanistic Counseling, and serves on the editorial board of the international journal Work: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment and Rehabilitation. He has published several articles and book chapters; presented at local and national conferences; chaired committees; and produced and published short educational video clips, podcasts, and websites.
