Dr. Hudson serves as a contributing faculty member in the School of Counseling and is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Ohio. She has worked in the counseling field for more than 15 years, helping survivors of trauma and abuse, college students, families, and children and adolescents. Her years of experience have also included working in state agencies in rehabilitation and vocational counseling. Dr. Hudson has experience in both community mental health agencies and private practice. She has prepared future counselors through her work in higher education since 2006 and has presented at local and national conferences on the unique needs of counseling African American clients, preparing master’s-level counselors to become supervisors, and creativity and wellness.
