BackgroundDr. Henderson is a licensed professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor. She was previously employed at the Ohio State University as a disability program manager. Previously, Dr. Henderson served as the chief operations officer of The Neighborhood House, Inc., and as director of the residential treatment center at the Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry. She has coauthored two book chapters, “Psychosocial Aspects of Disability Case Studies” and “Worker Disability Benefits Programs.” Dr. Henderson is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association, the National Rehabilitation Association, the National Association of Multicultural Rehabilitation Concerns, and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. She became a contributing faculty member in Walden’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences in 2013.
