Dr. Rumsey is a counselor, coach, consultant, entrepreneur, and workshop facilitator. He founded National Institute for Change in 2005 and sold it in 2012. He has extensive experience training counseling professionals in his unique five-stage counseling model. Dr. Rumsey has provided coaching and consulting to professional athletes and Fortune 500 companies. He has facilitated more than 9,000 groups, provided expert witness testimony in multiple jurisdictions, and helped couples meaningfully resolve some of the most challenging interpersonal dynamics. Additionally, he is trained in eye movement desensitization reprocessing and is neuro-linguistic programming certified. He is also a master addiction counselor and has worked closely with individuals to resolve anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression.
