Dr. Fahr has been a counselor educator since 2005, supported by more than 20 years of experience as a mental health counselor. Her clinical practice includes work with a variety of populations, with a focus on trauma recovery. She is a Registered Play Therapist and also maintains a clinical practice working with children ages 0–6 and their families. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. She has been published in professional counseling journals and textbooks. Dr. Fahr is a core faculty member in the MS in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling program.
