Alfred (Nigel) Basta Ph.D.

Dr. Basta has seventeen years of experience in multinational Colleges and Universities; Researcher and consultant in advanced Mathematics and Computer Science; Author of a variety of papers and publications in advanced Mathematics and Computer Science. Dr. Basta also serves with the Southern accreditation of College and Schools as a site reviewer. He is a member of the following organizations:

Brooke Goggin ED.

Dr. Goggin is a Special Project Coordinator for new University Wide Course Management System: Lead teams, provide framework for leak testing, UI, Systems and Operations, develop processes and procedures for training and testing, invoke Change Management , Deliver Results Award Adaptability with Chat Bots ; Artificial Intelligence Subject Matter Expert responsible for BOT development agenda using Microsoft Language Understanding Intelligent Service (LUIS).

James Nichols Ph.D.

James Nichols received his BS in Computer Science from UNC-Pembroke in 2002 and then pursued and earned a Masters of Computer Engineering from the University of Florida in 2008. While in graduate school, he was a teaching assistant for graduate courses in Software Engineering, Software Specification, Software Testing & Verification and Human-Computer Interaction.

Since 2004, he has been teaching a diverse curriculum of online undergraduate courses for Walden University including but not limited to: Systems Software Security, Networking Planning and Maintenance, Networking Fundamentals, Information Security Techniques I, User Interface Development, Web 2.0 Systems and Applications, Systems Analysis and Systems Design.

He began as an adjunct instructor at Santa Fe College in the Spring semester of 2010 by teaching Introduction to College Computing and Introduction to Programming. In 2013 he became an Assistant Professor and started teaching the first four Cisco classes (for CCNA - Routing and Switching) and currently teaches A+ certification classes along with security classes such as Ethical Hacking and Internet Security. He has recently developed a Computer Networks and Distributed Processing class for SF College’s new Information Systems Technology B.A.S. degree. Additionally, he has revised several courses in Security (CET 2661 Computer and Network Security and CET 2883 Network Security Advanced) along with CIS 1254 Professional Development for IT Majors.

He was a consultant for Risk Analysis on a NASA project in 2007. In 2009 he went to India as a lab instructor for Software Engineering for Infosys. He is CompTIA A+, Network+, Project+, Security+, Healthcare IT Technician, and IT Fundamentals certified and earned his CCNA - Routing and Switching certification (Cisco certification expires Nov 2017).

Mark Cohen Ph.D.

Managing IT department (IT, IS, CSC), and Paralegal Studies department, training and managing faculty, scheduling courses, reviewing programs, developing student learning outcomes, teaching computer and law courses, serving on committees such as Academic Integrity (Chair), Curriculum and Instruction, Safety, and Great Expectations, academic advising, course development, curriculum development, facilitating partnerships, developing articulation agreements, and student recruitment. Redesigned IT degree program. Developed Information Systems transfer degree, Computer Science specialization degree, and Cyber Security program.
