Background

Dr. Haines has 30 years of experience teaching the social sciences and humanities and has developed numerous corporate and federally funded grant proposals for university research and administration. Dr. Haines has received two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities to research Japanese history and culture and an Eisenhower Fellowship to develop a culturally sensitive math and science curriculum for Native Americans.
