Dr. Billingsley is vice president for evaluation services at Professional Associates, Inc., an evaluation, training, and technical assistance organization. Since 2003, she has worked for Walden University in several leadership roles: faculty chair for Mentoring and Research and faculty chair for the Ph.D. in Human Services program. Prior to working at Walden, she taught at Troy State University and Jackson State University. As the policy and special initiatives officer for the Mississippi Department of Human Services, she helped implement Mississippi Health Benefits, the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (S-CHIP). In her work with Jackson Takes A Stand Community Partnership and Metro Jackson Community Prevention Coalition, she worked in the areas of substance abuse prevention and abstinence education. Dr. Billingsley also has been a federal grant reviewer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
