Background

Dr. Milen is a vice president of a nonprofit organization in Northwest Indiana with a focus on disaster preparedness and bioterrorism issues. Dr. Milen has served as a firefighter and medic, emergency planner and bioterrorism/disaster preparedness coordinator for two hospitals. His articles have been published internationally, and he has presented globally on firefighting, emergency medical systems, bioterrorism, and disaster preparedness.
