Background

A faculty member at Vanderbilt University in the human development counseling graduate program since 1978, Dr. Barkley has taught research methods; statistics; consultation; appraisal and assessment; counseling theories; and pre-practicum, practicum, and internship in counseling classes. Since 1998, Dr. Barkley has been a faculty member at Walden, where he mentors students in their Knowledge Area Modules, supervises dissertation work, and serves as a methodologist on numerous dissertations in human services, health services, and public health.
