Dr. Herndon’s experience includes more than 39 years as a police psychologist, both in-house and contract, as well as federal government experience as a personnel psychologist and corporate experience as an industrial/organizational psychologist. He also has more than 25 years of university teaching and mentoring experience. His presentations and publications number more than 250; his most recent publications are book chapters relating to police personality assessment, crisis negotiation, and criminal profiling. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Herndon has been a martial artist (practitioner and teacher) for nearly 50 years.
