Background
Dr. Sickel has served in academia, research, and applied settings in the field of psychology. She has worked on a number of health-related projects, including the psychosocial functioning of borderline personality disorder, clinical research trials for Risperdal in the treatment of schizophrenia, and substance abuse and risk behavior intervention for middle-school students. Dr. Sickel has taught a wide array of courses and particularly enjoys serving as a chair and committee member for both master’s- and doctoral-level students.
