Dr. Morgan is a nurse educator, certified family nurse practitioner, and nurse researcher. She was a tenured associate professor at Fayetteville State University, department of nursing, and former chair. Dr. Morgan has published several research articles and has done several national presentations focused on improving health disparities among African Americans. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of several professional nursing organizations. Dr. Morgan is a manuscript reviewer for several professional journals. She joined Walden’s faculty in 2010 and teaches in the BSN Completion Program, where she serves as lead faculty.
