Dr. Grossman is founder of Nurse Leadership Builders, a consulting practice specializing in leadership development, communication, career counseling, and organizational improvement. He has 35 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing, including nephrology clinical specialist, nurse manager, nurse director, nurse educator, and coordinator of leadership development. He also has been a faculty member at other online universities where he taught nursing leadership, ethics, and career development courses. He is the author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Nursing Management, Journal of Pediatric Nursing, and Men in Nursing and the book, What’s Next? Create Your Dream Job With a Plan B. Dr. Grossman has also written books and other learning materials for the nursing leadership certification preparation courses, which he also teaches. He presents frequently at national conferences on leadership, pediatrics, healthcare quality, and education. He is a national examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Award. He joined Walden’s faculty in 2010 and teaches courses in the graduate nursing program.
