Background

Dr. Hautman is a professor emerita at the University of San Diego. She has spent more than 20 years as a professor in doctoral and master’s programs in nursing. She authored numerous research publications based on her work with women experiencing menopause and cultural health beliefs of African Americans and Vietnamese. She has presented her work internationally and worked with nursing colleagues in Japan, Philippines, and Taiwan. Dr. Hautman joined Walden in 2008 and teaches courses in the MSN program.
