Clinical nursing issues; recruitment and retention of nursing students
Dr. Tracey is a National League for Nursing certified nurse educator and a family nurse practitioner licensed in Florida. Joining Walden in 2010, she currently serves as a contributing faculty member in the MSN program as well as a full-time education specialist for a rehabilitation hospital in Florida. Dr. Tracey has been a nursing educator since 1991 teaching in multiple degree level nursing programs in the classroom and online. She has a number of publications and presentations on clinical nursing issues and recruitment and retention of nursing students. Dr. Tracey is active in multiple professional nursing organizations, serving in multiple roles and as officer and member of boards of directors. Dr. Tracey is the recipient of the Mary Elizabeth Ewing Endowed Chair in Nursing, Nurse Week Activities Awards, Outstanding Clinical Performance, and Outstanding Newsletter-Florida Nurses Association.
