Since 2001, Dr. Brady-Schwartz has served as president and CEO of DC Brady Associates LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in nursing and healthcare administration. Prior to 2001, she served as the chief nursing officer/vice president of patient care for nonprofit and for-profit acute-care hospitals. As the CNO at a 500-bed hospital, she led the organization to achieve designation through the Magnet Recognition Program. She became a contributing faculty member at Walden in 2010 for the MSN Leadership and Management specialization. Prior to this, Dr. Brady-Schwartz served as an assistant professor for four years at an online university teaching in the College of Health Sciences and College of Business Administration. She has been certified in Nursing Administration Advanced through the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 1989.
