Chronic illness; HIV/AIDS; new models for baccalaureate nursing education
Dr. Hall has been a registered nurse for more than 33 years. His clinical practice has included medical-surgical, cardiac step-down, and emergency room nursing. For the last 20 years, Dr. Hall has served on the faculty of the School of Nursing at Western Carolina University, and for the last 10 years, he has served as its director. As director of the school, he supervised multiple undergraduate and graduate programs. He serves as a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation site visitor and has also served on the national CCNE nominating committee. He is a past president of the North Carolina Council of Deans and Directors of Baccalaureate and Higher Degree Programs. Dr. Hall came to Walden University in 2012 and serves as the MSN program director in the School of Nursing.
