Dr. Truitt has more than 20 years of management experience, serving as a chief executive officer, chief administrative officer, and chief financial officer in the private, government, and nonprofit sectors. He has international experience working with various governments and university representatives in the United States and overseas. Dr. Truitt is a fiscal administrator at the University of California, San Diego, handling fiscal activities, research grant/contract administration, and human resources management. He also engages in domestic and international consulting and fundraising. He has more than 13 years of experience in scholarly activities, including both online and classroom teaching, staff development training, and one-on-one teaching in leadership, ethics, strategic planning, project management, accounting, finance, business management practices, team building, and group dynamics. He joined Walden’s faculty in 2008.
