For 20 years, Dr. Fan worked as a management professional in various leadership positions for Silicon Valley companies, including Lockheed, Amdahl, Applied Materials, Silicon Graphics, and Intel. Her experience includes software design engineering, operations management, project management, and international distribution channels for new product marketing in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. She is the author of “Successful Change Management Begins With Effective Leader-Follower Relationships” in The Refractive Thinker: Vol. III: Change Management and “The Impact That Ethics and Values have on Leader-Follower Relationships” in The Refractive Thinker: Vol. IV: Ethics, Leadership, and Globalization. She joined Walden’s faculty in 2009, teaching foundation courses and the Leadership: Building Sustainable Organizations course.
