Background
Dr. Munkeby has worked on and managed high-technology business projects/programs for the federal government and in industry for more than 30 years. His expertise includes serving as an Army infantry officer followed by work on the Space Shuttle and payloads for the shuttle (software developer), earth-observing spacecraft (software manager), and on robotic/unmanned ground vehicles (program manager). Dr. Munkeby currently supports the Army’s brigade combat team modernization (BCTM) program as a technology developer. The BCTM unmanned vehicles are driven by an autonomous navigation system (ANS). Dr. Munkeby is the ANS program manager guiding the integration of ANS technologies for military, homeland security, and industry applications. He joined Walden in 2009, teaching courses for the D.B.A. program in applied research methods.
